    where is the salt sensor on a hpt FDW20P

    there isnt one!, the module just counts the washes and after a set number (around 30 i think) the light flashes as a reminder to re-fill, to re-set pour 2L of water into the base, (this makes the p/sw contacts and makes the machine think salt has been added)

    This has not worked since new so would it be a faulty board.m

    why worry about it?, then again water here is so soft that you never need to top up salt, check the neon 1st
