    Afternoon all.Having fun and games with a sumsung sr61ktc.no display.tried fitting a new display pcb,still nothing.any ideas.My one concern was the appliance has been dropped albeit 2yrs ago ,customer then got as a cheap appliance.The appliance works fine maintaing the temp in frideg and freezer.

    Is This Machine A Side by Side Machine ? if it is lift top hinge cover there is a conector underneath check this also check conections on PCB at back of machine.

    HI DAVE.THE MODEL NUMBER IS CORRECT.I HAD THIS PROBLEM WHEN ORDERING THE PART.IT IS THE SIDE BY SIDE TYPE AND I HAVE TRIED REMOVING THE HINGE COVER AND HAVE CHECKED ALL VISIBLE CONNECTIONS..MODEL SR61KTC SERIAL NUMBER,41AR600082X.

    Hi Pinky Dont forget the power for the display board comes from another module which is the main PCB via a 14pin connector.
    The main PCB should be located in front of condenser on opposite side of compressor.

    P.S. Dont forget to look for signs of mice the little buggers may have made a meal of some cables.
