    Hello,

    My ice maker stopped working recently, i don’t have the fridge freezer model number but its the 2016 version featuring a home bar

    Ice Maker no DA97-11092A

    What works

    • Water flow – Dispenser fills a cup of water in expected time
    • Reset button on ice maker chimes when held
    • Error code shows ’26 e’ when located using outside display
    • No issues with basic fridge/freezer functions

    What doesn’t work

    • Water has stopped filling up top internal ice tray
    • When pressing dispense ice button nothing happens apart from a click sound that seems like it comes from the top back of the appliance externally

    Should the ice maker still turn and churn etc when pressed or does the appliance know there is an issue and cuts power?
    What should the reset button actually do?

    Is this a fault with the maker?
    Water valve?
    Frozen line?
    Something electronically?
