Samsung American style fridge/freezer how to unlock

Hi.
first of all I used this forum last year when this appliance brock down and was relieved to be referred to a reliable repairer after being ripped off.Sorry that I did n’t say thank you at the time.Thank you!!!!

The panel on my appliance is showing the lock sign-I can’t find the manual and don’t know which buttons to press to unlock it-I have tried doing a random click on the buttons but not succeeded. I want to unlock it because it is set at -15 for the freezer and I don’t think it is cold enough-ice lollies not completely frozen. Should it be at -18?

Don’t you just press and hold the “Lock” button?

thanks for suggestion-have tried holding in the button that I think corresponds to the lock and no joy. Not sure if the panel and given up the ghost-since I can’t get any movement whatever button I press.Thanks lots

Hi Mumdawn,

I don’t know your model, but if it has “freezer temp” and “refrig temp” buttons hold them both down for about 3 secs. It works on mine. Good luck. 😀

Press and hold down the fridge temprature button for approx 10 seconds.
