I have the above Fridge Freezer.
About a week ago I noticed the freezer wasn’t as cold as it indicated.
I turned it off for a few mins and back on, showing that the freezer was at 4 Degrees 😯
I searched the internet, and tried the defrost method. No joy.
I cleaned all the dust/fluff from the compressor, took the back panel off the inside of the freezer but there was no build up of frost/ice.
The fridge is remaining at a constant temperature.
The freezer is holding at 5 degrees, but not obviously not freezing anything 😥
My next step is to buy a replacement fan.

Any ideas, or anyone experienced the same?
I am out of warranty 😕

You can check the fan motor to see if is working by opening the freezer door and using a magnet near the top hinge, you will see the light in the freezer go out then wait approx 30 seconds as there is a delay on the fan starting up.

The compressor needs to be running when you check the fan is running.

Does the compressor cut out or is it running all the Time ?

If it is running all the time it could be a compressor or gas problem.

If it cuts out o.k. Then it could be the freezer evaporator sensor.

You also need to check the fan is running in the fridge compartment,

Test the fridge fan in the same way have the freezer door closed, Open the fridge door then use the magnet near the top hinge of the fridge.

The fan also has a delay and starts about ten seconds after the freezer fan starts.

If the fan in the fridge does not work then it could be frozen in the fridge.

This can have an effect on the freezer as the refrigerant gas can run warmer due to the fan in the fridge not working.

    Thanks Bob.
    The compressor cuts out.
I have just checked the fridge fan, it works.
Now the freezer display says -20 Degrees, however it is not that temperature inside.
Is this the evaporator sensor? 😕

I bit the bullet and called an engineer out.
The gas has leaked from the compressor.
    Total repair bill £107
FYI if you press the outer 2 buttons for 8 seconds any fault codes will show up ie faulty sensors/fans.
Hope this helps people in the future.
    Thanks for your help Bob
