When this machine is programmed it fills with water then fault code 4E flashes. According to the fault codes above E4 is a distribution problem – however, when i reprogramme the machine to the spin cycle it spins fine.

Any thoughts – dont do many samsungs 🙁

i think from memory 4E is prssure sensor fault. usually easily sorted by cutting back the pressure tube near the pressure switch at top of machine, the hose splits causing no water level sensed in alloted time.

    hope this helps.

Thanks bzz. That was spot on. Just done one this morning.
Looked as though the weight on top of the drum had rubbed on the hose; there was some of the rubbed away rubber lying on top of the weight. It must have jumped a lot to do that. Surprised there was no other damage.
The error codes in the sticky (and possibly in book, didn’t look) don’t correlate to this model. Or are they inaccurate?
    Customer book states:

    Error displayed Solution
    dE • Close the door.
4E • Make sure the source water faucet is turned on.
    • Check the water pressure.
5E • Clean the debris filter.
    • Make sure the drainage hose is installed correctly.
UE • Laundry load is unbalanced; loosen any tangled laundry.
    • If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, thefinal spin result might be unsatisfactory and an “UE” error message will be
    shown in the display window.
LE • Check the end of the drain hose is (not) too low. (Make sure the holder of drain hose in the back is intact)
    • Check the end of the drain hose is (not) submerged in water
Have added above to codes thread.
    Mike.
