Samsung Cool’n’cool SRL3216B lots of ice in the freezer part

Hi,

This website seems to be very helpful. I hope there is an answer to my problem 🙂

I have a Samsung Cool’n’cool fridge/freezer model no SRL3216B.
There is a lot f ice in the freezer part. Sometimes you can see huge icedrops hanging down at the front part over the drawers.
I have also found some large chunks of ice in the top tray.
Defrosting doesn’t help and the ice comes back.
Also the food stored in the lower drawers seem to be less frozen than the food stored in the upper ones.

I have noticed the seal is not fitting well at the upper part of the freezer door. there is like a little gap.

Is this the only reason for the problem above? Or could it be something else? I just don’t want to spent £60 on a new seal and find out it doesn’t help.

Any ideas?

In all probability yes, the seal could cause that if there is a large enough air ingress.
