This is a bit of a weird fault, the display panel is running through the scrolling/sequence of different program as if it is in a demonstration mode and yet the dishwasher is not in action.

I have isolated power supply and left it for 10 minutes and tried again, it’s still happening. i pressed the power button and start button at the same time, it seems to have stopped the scrolling through and made a start. The dishwasher starts up, customer says that it does happen once in a while. She complains of dirty dishes and possibly no heat.

There are no error codes to show for. I wonder if I am looking for a red herring with a possible heater fault or something lies elsewhere that causing the display panel to “malfunction”.

any ideas? Tried to upload photos but complains of files being too big. Is there a way to upload a video clip?

    thanks Matt

looks like touch buttons so I was wondering if there might be some contamination on the control panel making it think some ones finger is on it

It’s push buttons – click type. Will have a look and keep you posted.
