ParticipantI have this heat pump dryer. The compressor cooling fan stopped and shut the machine down . Now it has a HE error code.
I repair appliances so the only question is how to reset?
( compressor tested, cooling fan replaced etc..)
Any ideas?November 9, 2016 at 5:35 pm #441945maunokoivisto

Try this ,but normally it needs a base assy as the compressor is knackered

Thanks Lawrence i will do that. Te comp is not knackered as i have tested it.I fix fridges and replace compressors so i know too much about them 🙂 .

That’s good news then as the compressor is not available as a spare part ,it comes as a completely sealed R134a system all pre installed on the base with the motor ,the most common fault was that when cleaning the condenser the cust managed to crush the fins ,the compressors also had a habit of becoming incredibly noisy but obviously you wont know that until it resets however the other thing to be aware of is that sometimes when they went HE you also had to change the PCBs as well. Obviously if you can clear the HE error given your knowledge you can ascertain wether the compressor is noisy or not.

Even if the compressor would be dead, i could replace it it just a matter of hard soldering and getting the compressor from china (you can buy anything on alibaba):) Oh and also an F-gas certificate to buy R134a 🙂
