Hello everyone we hope you’re well.

We have a problem with our washing machine which we bought in 2014.
It has started to randomly stop and the LED on the cycle selector flashes, and the little basket on the display flashes also, as if it’s doing something but it isn’t.
We can’t remember what it uses to do when those flashed. The times of which is stops are usually around the 53minutes remaining but can be anywhere between 103-43Minutes.
It only seems to happen on the Daily Wash cycle. This morning however, we can’t get it to do a cycle at all, usually if you leave it for about 10minutes it will burst back into life and carry on, or you can pause it and unpause it to make it carry on. But today, it’s not having it! It starts the wash, then stops at 53minutes and won’t do anything.

Does anyone have any ideas please on what could be the problem?

    Many thanks!
    Ben.

Main pcboard is usually the cause of the problem from, I have to say, my fairly limited experience of Samsung. I had one not so long ago do exactly the same as you describe. The only caveat is when it went wrong the door remains locked but it your machine fails and you can open the door try a new door lock first but it could be both parts at fault though that is unlikely.

    Thank you Andy,
The door is still locked when it does the problem.
Are the boards easy to change on these? Never had to work on this one yet. Simple change over I assume?
