Samsung EcoBubble water issue

Hi all,
I have a Samsung eco bubble 8.0kg machine that will not fill up with water all the way when starting a cycle.
It will do the usual process of sunking out old water and then start to fill for a new wash but only fill about 1/5th of the way maybe.

Ive replaced the pressure switch and also the water pump (bottom left of the machine) but still no joy.

Run out of ideas in where to go next.

Worth to note, the belt had slipped 2 weeks prior which I was able to get back on without hassel. We had run a load of washes after without issue.

Any help would be appreciappreciated.

Just to add,

Ive checked for any kinks/bent tubing in the machine and all is good.

It always stops filling at the same level whoch is well under and cause the machine tonfreeze and not move in to the next stage of the cycle.

Most eco bubble contraptions have a 6 to 8″ concertina black rubber tank breather hose from the soap box to the top of the tank. This hose can get blocked by a thin “skin” of deposit across the hole where this hose connects to the tank – remove the breather hose to check that out and make sure you refit it properly. What happens is the tank fills with H2O but forms a vacuum inside the tank unit of which can cause the i/let valves to switch off prematurely via the pressure switch which gives you the impression the pressure switch is at fault when it isn`t..

You can sometimes get the same effect occuring if the air trap ( the chamber at bottom of the thin pressure switch hose) is part blocked too though it is much more common that you`d get an overfill i.e. the opposite of unfilling = a potential feet wetting flood!.

Just a general note: quite common that the pressure switch hose get a pin prick hole about 4mm away from where it is fitted to the pressure switch`s nozzle- this causes an overfill.

I removed all the hoses going in to the tank and soap box etc and gave them a good clean. Also made sure when refitted there were no bends or kinks.

Water still fills to the aame height.

Is the Issue with the pressure switch not recgonising when to turn off.

are you sure your not looking for a fault when there is not one
to save energy these days most machines fill lower on the wash as less water means less water to heat. In times gone by you could see the water at the bottom of the door on the wash cycle but not any more

it adds more water on the rinse cycle as there no energy involved so water level is higher

Thanks Dave for getting back to me.

The cycle stops after the initial filling of the water. The drum doesnt turn etc. When I took the housing off I can hear the solenoids twice but nothing happens.

Could it be the motor that turns the belt is out of sorts? The belt did come off 2 weeks prior to this issue.

Also tried to re calibrate the machine but still, the drum will not turn.

Is it worth just getting a new washer or motor? I’m.aboit 100e deep already a new motor is 130+.

ok so what your saying is the motor never turns no matter what programme you try

if yes more likely to be a board issue (but cant promise) , Samsung are know for board issues and the way they are built means the board cannot be repaired

Water issues in EcoBubble machines often come down to filter blockages or inlet problems. Checking hoses carefully usually solves most problems. Thanks for the info, I didn’t know the board cannot be repaired.

yes they make the board they submerge them in plastic so you cant access the components to change or test them
