    Hi A1

The problem is with the defrost system..check the heater, thermal fuse and change the defrost sensor.

    Thanks Bryan

Does the system check these? or do I have to test them manually and if so do you know what reading I should get

    Thanks

dont think the rs 20 has evaporator in fridge..
it all comes from freezer side,
if so check defo heater etc @ frz evap..

this fault seems to be inherent with the rs20 models…
cold air blown into fridge >>>>warm air back from fridge via tunnel,
return tunnel condensates and eventually will block up with ice, thus stopping air flow ..

doesnt seem to be a cure for this, as the appliance is doing what its told to do..i guess samsung forgot about what to do with the warm air coming back from fridge???

    Sorry with late reply

But customer did not want it repaired at the time ( I think she wanted a second opinion ??) rang back recently for repair and the defrost senor seems to have done the trick

    Thanks everyone
