Samsung F/F SR-S2028CVW HELP! URGENT!

I know NOTHIN about this :-S But here is whats happening..

I go on holiday in 4 days, and this is the first problem I have ever had..TYPICAL!

Yesterday, for no apparent reason, the fridge started the door open warning sound. along with the lock button showing.

this then started happening intermittently and was driving me mad.

No matter what I pressed, the display remained the same, with the lock light flashing

I read a post on here and tried pressing the top two buttons to get diagnostic mode – but nothing happens. The display shows both temperatures but I cannot be sure if these are correct.

The buttons do not “do” anything, although just now I pressed the bottom left/right one together and the lock light disappeared. I do not get any beep sounds when i press any of the buttons.

the warning sounds still happen if I leave the doors open as usual.

I’ve tried switching it off and back on, but the buttons are still silent, the display DOES change number wise on its own

Its about 3.5 years old if this helps!

If you think that the appliance is 3 1/2 years old then the repair would be carried out free of charge by samsung,you will need your receipt,if you dont have your receipt then they will work off the serial number manufacturing date.
