Samsung FF

Got this through today, fridge is freezing everything and it apppears the baffle isnt operating correctly. Turned m/c off then back on and baffle rotated then stopped. I put it back together turned it back on and am now getting RD as a fault code?????

Any ideas i take it both are related i hope 🙂

Problem with the damper motor ie -CONTROL RELAY of DAMPER MOTOR
disorder or MOTOR,REED S/W, MAGNET disorder. Which ties n with your fault, probably ice jammed the flap 😥

evaportor cover req, comes as a complete assy,
ie fan damper motor, i would change sensor and thermal fuse as well.

The fault will only lie with the evaperator cover( DA97-03797B ).

Sad when you can run the part numbers off your head isnt it !!.

the sensors wont need to be changed on this model as its a different factory to some of the other models.

Hello there,

Is this part (DA97-03797b) complete with new damper motor? or is there a part number for a modified complete assy with damper motor?.

I know there was a problem with some of these covers, GBDar cannot seem to locate a part number. I remember Gavin Mcdonlad of Samsung saying there is a part availbe but I don’t do part numbers¬!

Any help?
