Hi,
I’ve got a problem with a Samsung machine, a WD8704RJA/XEU, the drain pump runs continuously, even when not on a cycle with the door open! On a cycle, pump drains machine as it is filling, bringing up filling error code. My question is this: Should the level pressure sensor control the pump even when not on a cycle? I have disconnected the sensor, with no change. Is it likely to be normally closed, i.e. normally closed with no water level?
Should the pipe to the sensor be able to be blown down easily, and could I use a piece of wire to unblock if necessary?
