    Hi all,
I’ve just moved into a house, and the previous owner left a Samsung Rl33SBNS1/XEU fridge/freezer (it’s a “Frost Free” one, made in May 2005). It seems that it will defrost itself overnight, or during the day, generally taking between 8 – 12 hours to do it. If i turn it off, and straight back on, it works fine again for the next 8 – 12 hours.

Samsung tech support said they wouldn’t do anything about it, as it was a few months outside warranty, but told me it was probably the Defrost Sensor at fault. They put me in touch with an approved repair company who said it was probably the Defrost Heater at fault.

Can anyone clarify which bit it might be, how much it might cost, and how easy it is to fit?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice,
    Matt
