Samsung Fridge Freezer Help Model Number SR-S2028CSS

I need some advice on my big fridge freezer model number SR-S2028CSS.
Its not working right.
The error code (after pressing the top two buttons) is:

Right Hand Figure 8
Bottom left hand corner of right hand figure 8
Vertical LED

If you turn the appliance on the compressor kicks in and cools both the fridge and freezer to whatever temperature you ask of it then once the compressor stops working, it stops working permanently and both the fridge and freezer temperatures steadily climb back to room temperature.

I have had an engineer replace the condenser fan motor and fit a new fan. However this has made no difference so he is coming back to replace the fan motor as he thinks it maybe a dodgy fan motor he fitted and has another one on special order for us.

This company say its this part we need after telling them of the error on the front of the machine:

however, I am not convinced of the sale tactics of the link I have provided.

I am new hear and it seems like a knowledgeable forum.
Any help would be extremely grateful as I really need this fridge sorting as we have a very young family with lots of perishables and not much disposable income to sort the problem.
