I have a samsung cool n cool fridge freezer, no idea what the model no is and I am looking for a manual for it. I have tried the samsung website with no joy.

Just read through the links here as we also have a cool n cool Samsung which we have had since new in summer 2004. All has been well but recently the light started not working (on and off) and we noticed the fridge is no longer cold.
I would normally call out an engineer but as we are in Sweden – with the fridge that has proved impossible.

If anyone has any idea or some manual I can use to play around with this please let me know.

One question – I have never dealt with Samsung products with problems and as I may have to replace my fridge is it right that Samsung repairs and parts are expensive – the reason I ask is that if they are I would probably avoid them in the future and thought I would ask where people might actually know – rather than in shops where they are trying to sell them

has a solution ever been found for this?
my fridge has started doing the same (switching itself on and off and beeping everytime it does this) it still seems to be on enough to keep my food cold, i would just like to fix the problem before it conks out completely.
the link to the manual appears to be broken, and i couldn’t find it on the samsung website as they only have fridges under two years old on there.

It is worth checking to see if the fridge door has dropped as it may not be turning off the light switch and can sometimes cause problems.
The light switch also operates the fan motor.
Adjust the door with washers or just stick a 1 pence coin on top the door to operate the light switch if this is the fault.
If this is not the fault then it may be a PCB fault.
