Samsung Fridge/Freezer SR S2028 not maintaining temperature

Hi

I am having similar problems to many other posts regarding Samsung fridge/freezers, and I’ve read most / all those that are relevant (I think)

Symptoms are the same as others that from power on, starts ok and both fridge & freezer reach desired temperature as selected via front panel. However these temperatures are not maintained. I have left the unit off for 48 hours, and got the same result.

At one time holding the two buttons did show the bottom bar of the rightmost number alight. (i.e the fridge temp reading in normal operation). But I have not been able to repeat this.

Other posts suggest 4 possible faults (Thermal Fuse; Heater; Defrost Sensor or Fan).

I have checked the fan on fridge evaporator panel side and it appears to work only intermittently and for short bursts. I have done this by holding down the door open/close sensor imitating the door closed). I don’t know if the fan is supposed to work with the door open or not? Anyway it only seems to work for very short bursts when door is seemingly closed.

Any guidance as to whether the bottom bar on the fridge temp indicator means a specific fault or whether the intermittent fan is normal with door closed.
Or suggest which of the 4 mostly likely faults it is or is it something else
