Samsung Fridge/Freezer SR-S2028CVW – discontinued

Hi,

I’m after some info which I think should be very easy to establish, but it’s tyrning out to be VERY difficult! All I need to know is the month/year that the above model number of fridge/freezer STOPPED being sold in the UK?! i.e when was it discontinued? I have trawled the web, and the best I can come up with is Samsung Customer Service who say it was introduced *about* 10 years ago, & that it must have still been in production 8 years ago in 2008 as a manual is dated then. When was the product discontinued? Any ideas???

The easiest way is probably to see when the replacement was introduced, IIRC the RS21 series replaced the SRS series.

There was probably a bit of an overlap but likely not too much.

Given the RS21’s are now hitting 7-8 years old, I’d imagine the SRS series was probably killed off about 2004/5 or thereabouts.

If you need parts most are the same as an RS21
