ParticipantHas anyone had any feedback on these yet? From the info I get only B+Q and Homebase are selling these so far
Apparently customers are calling Samsung saying they cant even find the ratings plate (which is on the right on the inside of the door)

O and they are advertised as having easy to remove doors so the ovens can be cleaned easier.. pity you need 6 hands to get it back on. lets just say its a bit fiddly.
Only after practicing i can do it but get this if the customers cant get it back on they have to pay for an engineer to do it for them

I dunno Mac, I had a look at the ovens and they look clean enough but the top end one looks fussy to use, the Deluxe BT63FDST model. Even the other ones look a bit complex in some ways with this dual zone thing going on.
I can see the logic in it, I just don’t know that people want it and, if you cook to that extent then you’re likely to just go buy a double oven anyways and do it properly. The reason that I say that is that the feature would really come into it’s own when doing a roast or something, with pizza and chips the cooking temps are generally pretty much the same so there’s no need for it. But when roasting you have a big hunk of meat in a roasting dish and I doubt that many decent sized roasters will fit, height wise, in half the oven height.
I suppose for single people or couples it may have its uses but cooking for a family I have serious doubts.
Asides from that you only introduce additional points of failure, with an extra element, fan motor and thermostat/thermistor etc..
Steam clean thing, don’t get that. Why not just use pyro like everyone else?
I can’t say for sure as I’ve never seen one let alone used one, but you can see where I’m going.

The top end models are a bit fiddly. Look nice tho-esp with the dials being flush to the unit.
Only time will tell if they’re gonna be big sellers or not. Samsung arent really pushing em at the mo. Mainly cos theyre getting ready to faze out the RS21 fridges and release 50+ new models.
