    Hi

    My J1253 is displaying a 6E code. I have done another couple of washings today no problem but all seemed fine with this last load for the first few minutes, the machine filled but then seemed to stick, the programme not moving on. I tried a different programme, same problem. I then tried to spin as machine was full, then got the 6E code. I emptied the water out and checked the filters at the base of the machine expecting to find a coin or other object but nothing. Watching the machine it doesn’t seem to be able to spin.

    Any ideas anyone please?

    sorry, forgot to say, I can turn the drum by hand, nothing seems to be obstructing it

    Decided to get the credit card out and buy a new machine,have had countless problems with this one. Went for a Bosch WAE24165GB.
