    Hi folks,

I have been given a broken Samsung Q1345s. It fills up okay with water, well – to a point, below the rim, and it drains okay.. but nothing else. I get the error code 3e on the display.. as well as a ‘nee naw nee naw’ sound. Nice.

I read in another thread that it could be the water level control system. Can anyone verify this diagnosis and let me know where I could find such a thing?

    Cheers,
    Jamie

hmm 4e is the usual water level code

unplug, take off top, check the weight hasnt been rubbin on the bottom of the presure hose, thats more common than jade goody

seen a few of these in the field, just a matter of cutting down and re-attatching the hose to the switch

oh, and move the switch, ull see why, samsung have mouned it in the most ridiculous place ever

    hope this helps

id be checking the heater too

    does it spin?

u could be a bit more specific.. like i say, 4e is the usual water level fault

    hope this helps

    Hi

3E is a motor related fault which is why it fills and empties but no motor action. so could be motor or control module fault.

    Hiya,

Thanks for the replies. The machine fills and empties with no problem.. it is after the fill is complete that the error pops up.. just when it should spin I guess.

If it’s the motor then I guess it’s hardly worth repairing.. what about the control module? How much for one of those?

G.T Electrical work around here.. they have a good reputation and do free quotes as well. I might just give them a call.

    Cheers!
