Need help, other halfs washing machine has decided to stop playing ball,

Started a wash but it didnt want to know filled with water then came up error code 8E, beleive this is motor over load….Have emptied the machine but everytime I try to run it (drain/spin) the drum just judders then comes up with the same error code..The drum turns freely by hand.. 🙁

Is it the motor or PCB board any help would be great..

Juddering motor is syptomatic of a PCB failure. Expensive………..

spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to source one for you.

    Power off if investigating, please.

Obvious one is continuity test through motor and loom. Inspection of the (resin encased 🙁 ) board may reveal blown capacitors and other components.

    Re: Samsung Q1435S

Right done some more investigating, there is continuity through the loom to the motor and also through the windings of the motor (3.7 ohms) cant see any signs of blown components on the board, if I try to run the machine without the motor connected it comes up with error 3E, with the motor connected 8E… have checked the voltage across the motor when it is juddering and thats all over the place up and down from about 70 to 140 volts…..Oh also noticed if I disconnect the REACTOR the motor does not try to run and it shows error 3E……HELP.

Does this def sound like the pcb board

    Thanks 8)
