    Can anyone PLEASE tell me what tE means on a Samsung Q1457V washer. Is it a fault code and if so how do I clear it? (The machine had failed to drain because of coins in the pump.)

    Hi

    tE = Thermister abnormal error …Switch off power/reconnect and try again.
    From Samsung tech sheet.

    Thanks but I have aready tried that. When the machine is switched back on it flashes the error again after about 5 seconds. I think I’ll order up a thermistor and see if that does the trick.
