Any suggestions? As usual it’s now a few months out of guarantee. The random beeping and switching to Energy Saver function and then having to switch the fridge temperature back on is driving us crazy.

Sorry but I don’t have access to Samsung tech info, I don’t know if anyone does on here now as they changed it and made it very secure and open only to service agents.

I found something on another site that mentioned the door’s top flap internal wiring being damaged over time, but it was for a different model.

That would be possible but without being able to look at it for you I don’t know, one of the guys might see this who has access or is familiar with them.

I called Samsung support and they gave me contact details for a service company that’s 50 miles away.

It’s likely a control panel or door sensorissue. Try unplugging the fridge for 10-15 minutes, dry around the display and seals, and check that the door is closing properly. If it keeps switching modes, the front control board may need replacing. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I tried all that, no luck. I actually contacted Currys who sent a guy the other day – he replaced the main front panel board and another in the back, all for a fixed fee. Bargain.
