RL36EBNS. Customer had switched it off for 24hrs after spotting a layer of ice in bottom of freezer.
Noticed the lips of the rubber drain hose were stuck together so I removed it and a fair amount of water came out so its likely that was causing the smooth ice to form in bottom of the freezer after the defrost activated.

Anyway, since she powered it up the ‘rd’ code has displayed. The baffle is rotating but I assume the machine is not recognizing the rotation ?
Does anyone know if I can cure this without buying a complete evap cover assembly ? Customer not keen to spend more than £100!

    Thanks,

    Eddie.

    Hi Eddie

She’ll need to buy a new fridge then as it’ll need a new back panel

Yep, not easy getting cash out of some of them Bryan 😕

Could you PM me a price ?

Strange that it was working fine with normal temps before she decided to switch it off ? Only have her word for that of course.

    Eddie.
