    Hi

My girlfriend managed to leave the Fridge door open on my Samsung RL33BNS1. It now makes a right noise (the sound of a motor juicing your elecricity) and proceeds to freeze everything in the fridge compartment (except my vodka, phew). The lights on the top also continuously flash.

Please advise on what I can do to fix this.

    Cheers

The shutter that allows a flow of chilled air to the fridge compartment is probably frozen mid turn. All you can do is defrost – then the shutter will operate without stalling- best advise – don’t leave door open 🙄

Thanks for your help there stollydriver.

There are five lights and they are all flashing except the first one on the left.

4 lights flashuing (not left one)=baffle motor faulty – Like has been said defrost the whole unit ideally leave doors open and off for 2 days it seems overkill but you cant see the ice….

The baffle motor is the flap that opens and closes to let cold air into the fridge. Leaving the door open draws in warm air which is full of moisture this then freezes.

After defrost will be fine Stollydriver is correct 😀
