    Hi,

I recently bought a Samsung RL33S, only trouble is when it was installed I realised the doors open the wrong way for our kitchen.

I know that very often fridge doors are reversable, but it does not look immediately obvious how to do this, and I am unable to find any sort of instructions anywhere to say if I can or can’t change them.

Can somebody tell me if I can reverse the doors, and if so is it easy to do? With my track record of breaking things, I don’t want to start taking it appart unless I’m 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure!!

    Many Thanks

Re: Samsung RL33S – Reversing the doors

If they were reversable I would have thought it would say so in the user manual along with instructions on how to do it but it doesn’t, I’ve also read the engineer’s service manual and it isn’t in there either 🙁

I did find this on the Samsung webite (FAQ) though:

This depends on the model. It is possible to do this with conventional Samsung fridge freezers that do NOT have a water dispenser. It is not possible to reverse the doors on any of our Side by Side models or on our conventional fridge freezer models that have water dispensers (e.g. RL39WBSW and RL39WBNS).

    A call to Samsung’s customer services should verify – 0870 242 0303

    Dave.

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for that, you just confirmed what I thought.

I gave them a call on the number you gave and they confirmed for sure that the doors can’t be reversed.

I asked if it would still work if I turned it upside down, and apparently I can’t do that either so I guess I’ll just have to live with it!

    Many Thanks
