    Hi,

Whent to have a look at above fridge freezer the other day, customer said that fridge and freezer was hot, so he unpluuged it and when I got there it was working fine, so checked all the obvious and all test fine, thermoster, fan working, no ice on evaporator, timer for flap seems to be working as fridge and freezer thats getting warm, so whent for PCB, fitted it and all seem to be working fine, got a call today from customer, both of them is warm again. Any ideas?

Hi Bryan, it seems ok as there is no ice build up on the evaporator.

    Hi Bryan,

Thanks, will go for that, but can you explain why, as there is no ice build up, doesn’t that mean the defrost heater is working, or is there another reason why the defrost heater will do that for future refrence

    Hi

Did you check the heater ?
    thermal fuse ?

If the evap sensor doesn’t sense +17oc then it won’t restart out of defrost.

All this info in available in the SEARCH facility
