    Hi,

My Samsung RL33SBNS is flashing the four outer lights on and off and wont seem to switch on – presume this is some kind of error code – can anyone translate it?

It was making some noise and there was ice in the freezer, so I defrosted it thoroughly and switched it back on and it wouldnt start, just the flashing lights.

I checked all the connections internally in case there was a sensor loose or something – all seem ok visiyally. It has suffered from frosting up over the last three years, but usually a good defrost sorts it all out.

    Any advice gratefully received.

    Matt

I found a manual online and it indicates that this combination of flashing lights indicate that it’s a freezer temp sensor malfunction.

Relatively cheap to replace, so I will try that and see if normal service is resumed.
