Samsung RL36SBMS Fridge /freezer

Called to the above f/freezer because the damper control motor ( air flow vent) was jammed and noisey. Stripped unit cleared vent flap rebuilt .On power up the appliance will run for 30/40 seconds then stop No5 light flashing on top display. Have retested all plug in sensors,wire harness ect everything looks ok.Machine was working ok when I arrived bar the noise now everything defrosting .Any ideas from the samsung experts?

Hi

The evap cover will probably be the cause,if the duct motor has failed then the last light will flash,this is due to the sensor which is within the gearing assembly not picking up that the duct is moving therefor going into erro mode.

I checked on Connect and see that the cover comes with motor and sensor etc £47.71 Will order Thanks again for the prompt reply.
