Samsung RL58GPEIH – Fridge not holding steady temp

Hi all,
Two problems with my Samsung RL58GPEIH Fridge Freezer. First the temp display and one button don’t work properly. I suspect a selection of broken cables in the top hinge.
Second and bigger problem, the fridge isn’t maintaining temperature. It varies between 0(freezing) to 10-12 degrees. I know what I suspect but what is the Pro though on this?

Are the cables in the hinge easy enough to fix or a replacement wiring loom replacement straightforward enough?
Any sensors that might need to be replaced, are these straightforward?
