Hi my Samsung RS21DGRS is tripping my RCD all the time. I have stripped out the back of the fridge compartment to get at the evaporator and defrost heater.This connects electrically by three small blocks, when carring out checks if i leave the top one disconnected and apply mains power the unit will start up and run after about 20sec delay.The display panel is blank during this start up time except for a small 1 fig in the top right of the fridge display, after 20 ish sec the unit starts and no fault codes are displayed when you try the diagnostic check.
I guess this is the Defrost Sensor that i have dissconected (red & black cables sensor wrapped in white foan tie wrapped to bottom right side of evaporator and defrost heater
Could someone please help re repair , do i replace the sensor only or is there further check i need to do, or is it the evaporator and defrost heater that need replacing as advised in other posts on this forum

This thread should be of interest.
You need a meggar to check for this fault to identify the culprit,probably time for an engineer.
