Samsung RS21 control board

We’ve had our “very nearly” 5 year old Samsung RS21 DCNS fridge “repaired” under the new Watchdog extended warranty after the fridge section froze up and stopped cooling. We’ve been told that the control circuit board has gone wrong also and that this is not covered by the warranty bit can be replaced for £230 icl. parts and labour.

I’d rather give my money to anyone other than Samsung right now, so does anyone have any advice how to how a can replace/repair the control circuit board. It seems a pretty common problem so someone must have an idea which 5p resistor needs changing etc!!

Any help will be much appreciated, and I am willing to pay….
