    Freezer started to not freeze and temp was showing -21 and flashing as some peeps i thought my grandson had pulled the door open and i did not see ,but got up this morning and all stuff deforested and fridge not cool compressor seems to kick in for about 5 – 10 secs then goes off

    the Freezer is about 11 year old

    If the Compressor only runs for 5 to 10 seconds then it is cutting out on the thermal cut out.

    It will need a new compressor, not a DIY repair and not a cheap repair.

    Cheers Bob i had an idea it was that reading some internet stuff well off to shop for new one
