Just need some reassurance as I think I’ve had this before. The fridge side is icing up, everything reads but the heater is 393 ohms, i seem to remember having this before and a new heater sorted it. The defrost sensor was reading 5.5 but i’m assuming thats o.k

That would be roughly a 150watt heater,if you check on the side of the heater the wattage is usually stamped on them, you can then cross check.

    Hello,

If it is the yellow evap sensor you are talking about, the white ones were prone to water ingress. Then giving out-if-range readings to the control module.

The heaters are around 5 Ohms. and there is a newer modified version of that too now. I have them in-stock, please PM me if you want one.

It sounds to me as if the thermistor could be faulty. Set it to a forced defrost and then see if the heater starts to warm up. Often what happens is the sensor is faulty after a 30-90 seconds you will hear a click from the rear board and the power to the heater will be cut. Also have the sensor from stock.

    Let me know

you might need a bigger fuse in the plug if your heater reads 5 ohms. 😉

    Bob.
