Samsung RS21 Error code help

I’ve got an error code chart for a Samsung SRS2028 which I’m hoping will be the same for all the samsung US style appliances?????
The fault I have is a line on the top right digit in the fridge display area which indicates an error with the ICE MAKER SENSER — After checking the senser, which is has 2 white wires on the ice maker plug I found it to be open curcuit. Am I to assume that this is actually the fault or is it meant to be open curcuit?

The 2 white wires go directly to the pcb at the rear of the machine and they are fine.

Any help please?

The sensor wires will be broken near the sensor, you can solder and insulate them or buy a new sensor.
