Samsung RS21 help please.

Hi All,

I have been going through the forum over the last few days trying to work out a couple of problems with the fridge section. I am guessing I am going to be told it is the Evaporator cover as the bottom bar illuminates on the diagnosis and the fridge is warm at top and cool at bottom. I had a check behind the cover but it wasn’t iced up like many others on the forum. Also, the lcd temp display doesn’t read the correct temp and needs to be turned on and off to display the correct temp. Before I noticed the problem (took me a while as my beer was always cold as it’s kept at the bottom) the temp was reading 4 which was obviously wrong.

I am looking for a bit of guidance as this is my second Samsung side by side as the last one was replaced on warranty after the freezer died and after the engineers changing virtually every part over a 4 month period they gave up.

Hi again,

I have another problem with my Samsung fridge after repairing the last issue. Replaced the evap cover with no probs and all has been working okay until recently when the odd noise has been occuring. I have had another look through the forum but would like some definitive advice. When I press the top 2 buttons for error code nothing appears as if all is well. The problem is the noise that has started from the fridge which stops when I open the door (usual problem but would appreciate advice).

Hi

The problem will be in the defrost area of the fridge,possibly the defrost sensor or heater.
