I’ve recently been unfortunate enough to buy a second hand Samsung rs21 fridge freezer. The usual problem of things frosting up happened almost as soon as it was plugged in. I’ve fitted all new defrost gear in fridge side including fan, plugged it back in, all was well…but then the freezer side stopped cooling. On inspection same problem, icing up. So I’ve changed the front stat with yellow wire and tried again but it won’t cool. Ran diagnostic and it said freezer fan fault so I presumed the ice had burnt fan out. So I replaced that. Now when I switch it on fan runs for about 3 seconds and turns of. Does that 4 or 5 times then gives up…..
is there something else between fan and pcb or is this gonna be a faulty mainboard pcb?
also the fridge has frosted up twice since the replacement element and sensors. It’s not as often but it’s defo still doing it. Any help would be appreciated.
