    Hi.
We have a 3 year old Samsung RS21 fridge freezer. Until now there’s been no problem with it but over the last couple of days the water dispenser has stopped dispensing water. Can anyone offer any advice please?
I’m an electronic engineer so familiar with electronic “bits” but not so hot on mechanical things!
The water dispenser flap is also broken and has been for some time so is there somewhere you could point me to get a replacement?
    Thanks
    Scott

    Re: Samsung RS21 water problem

    hi there
the usual problem with no water from the dipenser is due to the water tank frozen which is located in the fridge section at the bottom, the worm shaped tank, this sometimes freezes enough to stop the water flow getting to the disperser, heat the tank with a hair dryer to rectify.modifications have been made with regards to the water lever so make sure you get the right one for your model.
which rs21 do you have. thanks pedro

and its freezing becuause it probably needs a evapotaor cover, and more than likely one of the new sensors (identified by being black or white.. if its white, u need to put a black one in) , possible thermal fuse/defrost heater

introducing hot air into a cold air blown environment is not the cure and will intensify your problem

there was NO modification to the water lever.. there was a kit introduced to replace the handle and repair the door moulding if it was broken (as doors are usually in excess of £100)

best to get it sorted rather than introduce warm air and cause problems!
