samsung RS21DC no freeze or cool please help

Hi I have a samsung RS21DC american style fridge freezer . The problem is that the temp on both fridge and freeze has went .
tried the fault code sequence as posted on your sie buy all the display lights up ?
I looked in the back of the fridge where the compressor(compressor very hot) and pcb are and the fan that cools at the bottom is not spinning ?Checked for voltage at the fan and seemed to be getting 87volts on all 3 pins (down to earth)
When you switch off the mains then turn it on again the fan does spin but just for a second .
I can hear a fan spinning within the back cover of the fridge way up at the top .

would be most greatfull if some one could shed some light on this as the wife is going a bit nuts ?? turkey is defrosting ???

Hi George,

First thing to do on an RS is to check for ice build up behind the fridge rear panel, once you know that’s clear (or not) you know where to start looking. 😉
