Our freezer door was left very slightly open for a couple of days whilst we were away.
The appliance was obviously working hard to keep the freezer cool and was making a terrible noise when we came back.
I emptied everything and turned off the fridge for a few hours to let it rest.
On turning it back in all seemed okay initially. Both fridge and freezer section cool okay and there are lights in the freezer section. Water and ice creation all okay.
However in the fridge section the lights were flickering and the fridge was making a rattling noise and then the lights (both bulbs) died.
We took off the light panel and checked the bulbs in a table lamp and the bulbs still work fine.
I am guessing something burnt out or froze over when the appliance was working so hard to keep the freezer cool.
I turned off the entire unit again for 10 hours last night in case something needed to defrost but no change.
    Any ideas….??
Annoying as the appliance works just no lights in the fridge.

    HI

Defrost heater, sensor, thermal fuse and evaperator cover will probably need replacing.
