samsung rs21dcns tripping rcd

hi guys i was at this baby today , customer woke up to fridge not working and rcd tripped , i removed the control panel and took off all the block connectors and one by one put them all back until the rcd tripped , it is the connector with the defrost heater compressor etc 7 wires , so i proceeded to remove the compressor connection from the compressor end .. still tripping , then i took apart the freezer and disconnected the defrost heater ,, still tripping ,, and then the rest of the block connectors in the freezer ,, still tripping , anyone have any idea’s thanks

How about the defrost heater in the fridge side, its a common failure

checked fridge side and when the defrost heater is unplugged the fridge runs ok , but without led dislay ,

Do you have the other stuff connected yet, ie air sensor?

yeah connected every plug connector except defrost and it ran, although i did have to plug them in when it was turned on , it wouldnt start with them plugged in and then turned on , just kept hearing a loud thud from the compressor area and it would’nt come on but it was’nt trippping the rcd either

replaced defrost heater and it ran fine , but customer rang to say it wasnt so cold in fridge , and fan making lots of noise ,turns out the evap is clogged with ice and the fan also ,

this is a joke the defrost tray heater that i replaced is tripping the rcd again and it has blown the defrost heater and the defrost sensor ?? wtf samsung !
