Today i had a call for a repair qoute on this f/f.It’s in a bit of a state,not cosmetically,the fridge has the notorious ice build up,even the water bottle frozen solid and of course higher temps.The freezer is not cold enough,the food is partially frozen.The customer said the ice maker is also not working,but it was for a short while after they defrosted the appliance a few weeks back.
I’m confident the fridge complete modification kit will sort that side out and the ice maker not working due to high temp of freezer.The fan is working in the freezer so i’ve priced for a new defrost heater? and a clean up of the condenser coils etc as it’s not been touched before.The compressor is running constantly and sounds ok.The doors are not level also,albeit the seals look ok.
I didn’t roll it out to check the condenser fan as the customer wanted a idea of price first.
Any advice regarding the high freezer temp most welcome.
