    Hi

Call to one of these today as taking out house trip as soon as it was switched on. Isolated the fridge heater as this was showing up on megger as down to earth. Left disconnected hoping that unit would run for the few days it would take me to get a new heater only to find it would not start up. On the fridge display the upper right segment was lit. Is this because of the heater being disconnected or is there some other fault I have missed????

    Many thanks

that is a fault code and if you leave heater disconnected it would not work anyway as when it goes onto defrost it relies on the heater to kick it back in if there is no heat it will stay off for ages and totally defrost.

    Hi

Thank for your reply and the information about the defrost with heater being disconnected. learn something new everday

The segment lit – is that because there is no heater or is there another fault?

I have had a look for fault codes through the masses of posts on this appliance but can not see anything that relates to that segement.

i aint got them on me at the mo they are in the office but if the fault was not there then it is then i would assume so.the heater unplugged would defo be picked up.you have to order a full fridge evap as well to un peel the heater for these ridiculous.

the icemaker sensor is o/c, it stops the whole fridge from running
