Samsung RS21WCNS (RS21WCNS1/XEU) Fuse Problem

Hello,

I am having trouble with a customers Samsung RS21WCNS (RS21WCNS1/XEU).

It is the model with the Water dispenser built into the fridge door (right hand side fridge0

There is no Ice maker, just manual fill water tank.

The 2Amp Glass fuse on the main board keep blowing.

The customers mate had disconnected all the connectors from the board and the fuse blew immediately when powered with 240v Mains.

When I arrived, not blowing even a 600mA fuse. But soon after running in refrigeration mode, the fuse pops.

Anyone else had this problem?
In my experience, Samsung USA Style boards don’t normally fail.

Get the customer to contact samsung as they have a 5 yr limited warranty for this fault.
otherwise its the defrost heater but the complete fuse board must be replaced as a unit.

Fridge or freezer defrost heater R600a?

I know about the board fuse mod. But the fuse blows with nothing connected.

compressor maybe?

I had cleared my van out and left my megga in the garage.

Will have to go back, just a bit in the sticks

Hi

If it’s tripping then you have a earth leakage fault somewhere.you will need to check the different circuits.
