Your fridge freezer is similar to an RS21DNS Samsung, there is a design fault which Samsung wont officially recognize. A drain hole is too small, blocks with ice and can stop the fridge getting cold enough and can also stop the water dispenser working. The hole has to be either made bigger or the unit replaced. Often, when the drain hole freezes you get a weird noise. This is a fan hitting the freezing ice. The problem seems to occur around about 2 years from new.
WHY WONT SAMSUNG DO AN OFFICIAL RECALL!!!!!!

You are right about the problem.
Repairer fixed the problem as you have described.
I will be writing and complaining to Samsung and make them aware of this site.
WE MUST GET EVERY ONE ON MASS TO COMPLAIN.
HEY IF THEY HAVE ABOUT £36 MILLION TO SPONSOR CHELSEA, THEY MUST HAVE SOME SPARE MONEY TO SORT OUT OUR PROBLEMS…………!
