Inside the freezer next to the ice maker motor is a plastic cylinder with a metal bar inside, this sits in to a recess. there is a plastic square broken off what is it and what does it do?

It changes the ice from crushed to cubes

Hi

It comes in about 7 pieces and you will probably need the solenoid also as they have a tendency to fry.

I have got them already built up,send me a e-mail and i’ll find out the cost of all the bits
