3 months ago, after a short power cut, the Control Panel/Digital Display Unit on my Fridge Freezer just showed the Exhibition Mode 88 – 88. The fridge and freezer held their temperature but I couldn’t use any of the buttons at all nor could I get ice. I was on the verge of ordering a Display Cover Assembly when it came back on again. This was after unplugging for 5 mins then leaving alone for 12 hours. The same thing has now happened again after another short power cut. We have had power cuts without this happening. I’ve tried the unplugging and leaving but it didn’t work this time. Again the temperature is holding at Fridge 3deg and Freezer -18deg but no response at all from any of the buttons. Just wondered if any of you very clever people out there had any other ideas I might try before ordering what I hope is the correct part, a Display Cover Assembly.
